Easy Fish Tacos

Eating healthy doesn’t have to be complicated or take hours preparing food. This easy fish taco recipe is delicious, nutritious, and comes together in a snap!

Easy Fish Tacos

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 tbsp ghee, melted
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 10-15 oz cod or other white fish, thawed
  • tortillas
  • avocado

INGREDIENTS FOR SLAW (OPTIONAL—not dairy free):

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream/Greek yogurt
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 head cabbage, shredded
  • Other options: red onion, mango salsa, etc.
  • Could serve on cauliflower rice for Whole30/paleo 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Mix ghee, lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, and sea salt in a small bowl.
  3. Place fish in baking dish.
  4. Pour mixture over the fish.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes. 
  6. Flake the fish and coat with the extra sauce in the pan.
  7. Add shredded cabbage to a bowl.
  8. Mix all the dressing ingredients together.
  9. Add to shredded cabbage & mix well.
  10. Serve with red onion, avocado, mango salsa.
  11. Enjoy!
