You’re going to love these frozen banana treats that will fit seamlessly into your meal plan!
I’m not a big fan of ice cream (gasp!). It usually leaves me feeling pretty bloated and I can never stick with the suggested serving size, but I do enjoy a cold treat after dinner from time to time.
I got the idea while browsing on Pinterest and tweaked them a bit.
They are easy, satisfying, and a treat that’s great for the whole family!

Frozen Banana Treats–makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- nut butter (I used peanut butter)
- honey (optional)
- chocolate chips, (I used dark chocolate)
- crushed nuts (I used almonds)
- Kosher salt
Instructions:
- Peel & slice banana in half crosswise and then slice each half lengthwise.
- Lay each banana piece on a baking sheet.
- Top the banana pieces with nut butter.
- Add chocolate chips to a microwave safe container and melt 15-30 seconds at a time, stirring in between.
- Add desired amount of honey + water to the melted chocolate & stir to a smooth consistency.
- Drizzle on top of nut butter.
- Lightly sprinkle chocolate with Kosher salt.
- Top off with crushed nuts.
- Place in freezer.
- Freeze for a couple of hours or overnight.
- Enjoy!
