Asking “What if…”

Here’s a powerful exercise for you to do.

As yourself “What if…” about whatever it is you are struggling to believe in.

👉 Maybe you are struggling to believe that you can lose weight.

Ask, “What if I believed I could lose weight?”

🌟 What would you be thinking, feeling, doing if you believed you could lose weight?

You might be meal planning, meal prepping, buying healthy food, scheduling your workouts, doing the workouts, finding an accountability partner, shopping gyms/workout programs. You might be feeling optimistic & energetic.

👉 Maybe you are struggling to believe that you could get a better paying job/position.

Ask, “What if I believed I could get a better paying job?”

🌟 What would you be thinking, feeling, doing if you believed you could get a better paying job/position?

You might be spending time on job sites, revamping your resume, applying for jobs, attending networking events, brushing up on skills, buying outfits for interviews, etc.

👉 Now compare those actions to the actions you are currently taking/not taking. I bet they are drastically different!

🌟 Asking yourself “What if” opens your brain up to opportunities & possibilities.

Your brain goes in search for the answers to the questions you ask it. If you ask it, “Why can’t I lose weight?” Your brain will give you all the reasons why you can’t.

But if you ask it, “What if I believed I could lose weight?”, your brain will give you totally different answers.

Your beliefs about yourself and what you believe to be possible for your life drive your actions.
